Five nights at Freddy's is a highly-acclaimed indie point and click adventure game developed and published by Scott Cawthon of Fullbright. It's his fourth episode in the Five Nights At Freddy's series. This time around, there are 3 teenagers - Jason (Dylan Minnette), Billy (Ben Myers), and Freddy (Nathan Fillion) who have just gotten a job in the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza outlet in Fazbear City. The first nightthey are about to go on a trip to the park in which Freddy conducts his restaurant. Freddy is a lover of movies like"A Nightmare On Elm Street", therefore he is excited about seeing it .
After settling their cash, they go outside to Freddy's Pizza at the night he is advised to begin his series. They're dressed to impress, as Freddy is a really famous artist. The doors of his office are open, but as Jason and Billy hurry in, Freddy grabs them. Jason and Billy operate out, while Freddy opens the doors of the office. Indoors, Freddy takes off his mask, revealing his true identity - Freddy Kruger.
Freddy immediately begins to attack Jason and Billy. Freddy uses his magic powers to turn people to stone or to make different objects move on their own - like a truck in front of nights at freddy's 4 Jason. He also makes Jason feel ill. Freddy also uses his capacity to restrain people, like when he makes Jason thinks he's having a heart attack.
Freddy is much more terrifying when he touches Jason, turning him into a sword. Jason can fight back, however, by using his unique powers of telekinesis and his voice. Jason manages to catch Freddy, but Freddy uses his ability to throw Jason into a different dimension. Jason gets his memory back and heads back to Freddy's Pizza.
But, Freddy has an ulterior motive - to get back at Jason and Billy for kidnapping him and breaking his soul. If Jason kills Billy or even Jason, he will get a trophy. So, Jason and Billy visit the pizzeria to find their killer...
Five nights at Freddy's turns the usual point and click action game from the last games into a full-blown horror experience. The images are amazing. The sound is excellent. The voice acting is superb. But, there are some glitches in the plot.
Freddy is always about, but he attacks Jason or Billy. Freddy is merely a backdrop character. Jason and Billy find out that the animatronic dolls are actually fake, which Freddy has a grudge against them. Jason and Billy have to find out what happened on Freddy and stop him before it's too late.
While the narrative of Five Nights in Freddy's is an interesting one, it may not be the best one around. Due to how the game has been put together, the events that happen may seem unnecessary or confusing initially. However, once the story and the characters are explained and the storyline begins to fall in to place, the game starts to make sense.
